Overview

When I find a text whose beauty is worth ruminating on, the applied practice of calligraphy has allowed me a way to serve and honor the text. Many of these pieces have been gifts to amazing people in my life who have fueled my creativity and helped me to lift my head. During one sweet season in my life, I would sing worship songs and my mind would immediately begin imagining the flowing text written in calligraphy. Though I do enjoy the technical aspects of graphic design and typography, my calligraphy is one way to work with my hands. It is deeply satisfying to create a piece with the human touch that is unique to the art of handwriting.
